Ch. Floresta's Seminole Wind "Spud"
Once in a while, that “special” puppy or dog comes into your life and the moment you see him, you just know. For us, this was a little cream puppy produced here at Floresta named “Spuds”. I knew he was special the second I looked into that little wrinkly face while performing the c-section to bring him into this world. He taught us so much and we are forever grateful he came into our life. Spuds quickly finished his championship before he was 8 months old from the competitive Florida circuit, where he held his own against much older seasoned dogs. Our little puppy was a joy to watch and an inspiration to live with. In his eyes anything was possible.
We were lucky enough to have a reason to breed him at a very young age and we cherish the two puppies we kept from that litter. Spuds is now gone, a tragedy of an unforeseen accident, and we think of him often. He was always the “little puppy that could”, and he never let us down. He will always be close to our hearts.
